Spaghetti Bolognese Recipe with ingredients from Morrisons

By

A fantastically quick and delicious recipe for making Spaghetti Bolognese, a real tasty dish for yourself or the whole family.

All these ingredients are from the supermarket chain called Morrison’s and I personally swear by them, for quality of taste in there meat and sauces they are just divine and no I don’t work for them either.

This beautiful meal will only set you back just under £10 and will easily feed 3-4 persons and will only take no more than 35minutes to cook approximately.

During preparation cutting the Peppers small will help to soften them during the cooking time allowed, also cutting the Mushrooms medium to big size will compensate for them shrinking during the cooking time.

Nearing the final minutes of cooking the mince should be tender and the mushrooms should have shrunk to the same size of the cooked peppers.

    Instructions

    1. In a large saucepan add 3 table spoons of olive oil and heat on a medium heat around gas-mark 4.
    2. Add your lean minced meat and cook until brown, stirring constantly to avoid sticking and burning.
    3. Once all the meat is browned then add you’re finely chopped ingredients, onions, peppers, mushroom and keep stirring for a further 5 minutes.
    4. Also as an optional extra you could add x2 chopped garlic cloves, cook for a further one minute and then add a glass of red wine.
    5. Now add the two jars of Morrisons pasta sauces stirring constantly until the sauce has began to boil, then reduce heat to gas mark 2 or 3 and simmer for a further 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
    6. Now heat another large saucepan of water and bring to a boil. You could add boiling hot water from a kettle free of lime scale if you would like to save time.
    7. Once water is boiling add your Morrisons organic spaghetti or tagliatelle and cook until ‘'Al Dente' meaning just firm enough to bite.
    8. Once your spaghetti is ready then drain in a colander to get rid of excess water, then serve and add your Bolognese sauce.
    9. As a finish why not add some grated parmesan or grated mature cheddar.
